Peter Kalliney is the Tuggle Chair in English at the University of Kentucky and a faculty affiliate of African American and Africana Studies. He is author of four books, most recent of which is The Aesthetic Cold War: Decolonization and Global Literature (2022, Princeton University of Press). His essays have appeared in Modernism/modernity, Modern Language Quarterly, Modern Fiction Studies, PMLA, Research in African Literatures, Times Literary Supplement, and elsewhere. His research has been recognized with fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the National Endowment of the Humanities. He is co-editing the anthology Anticolonial Thought and Writing with Harris Feinsod and Leah Feldman.
