Harris Feinsod is associate professor of English and Comparative Literary Studies at Northwestern University. He is the author of The Poetry of the Americas: From Good Neighbors to Countercultures (Oxford, 2017) and the co-translator, with Rachel Galvin, of Oliverio Girondo’s Decals: Complete Early Poems (Open Letter, 2018). His recent research focuses on maritime globalization and its obstacles in the interwar period. Essays from this and related “blue” projects appear in ALH, Comparative Literature, ELN, and Modernism/modernity, as well as The Baffler and n+1. He also directs Open Door Archive and he is currently co-editing the anthology Anticolonial Thought and Writing with Peter Kalliney and Leah Feldman.
