Arvind-Pal S. Mandair is a Professor in the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures holds the Chattha, Brar & Singh Endowed Chair in Sikh Studies at the University of Michigan. Arvind holds doctoral degrees in science and philosophy. His current research and teaching interests include cross-cultural and global philosophies, postcoloniality and diaspora studies, translation theory, philosophy and history of religions, consciousness studies and science and technology studies. He has authored many books and numerous journal articles. He is currently completing a book called Geophilosophical Encounters: Diasporicity, Decoloniality and Transversal Thought, forthcoming 2024.
